Security operatives conducting a forest raid near the Lokpanta Cattle Market in the Umunneochi area of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway uncovered a disturbing scene.
Abia State Governor Alex Otti revealed that they found 50 decomposing corpses, including 20 headless remains, along with numerous skeletons.
Shockingly, it was revealed that kidnappers were using the cattle market as a location for ransom collection.
Governor Otti, speaking during his monthly media chat in Umuahia, expressed his determination to eradicate criminal activities from every corner of the state to safeguard the lives and assets of its residents and visitors.
