The Egyptian Foreign Ministry has disclosed that around 7,000 individuals holding foreign passports from 60 different countries are currently waiting for the opportunity to leave the Gaza Strip.
To facilitate their departure, the ministry has convened a meeting in Cairo, inviting foreign embassy representatives to discuss the necessary entry documentation for Egypt from this conflict-affected region.
It remains uncertain whether this group of 7,000 consists solely of foreign nationals or if it includes Palestinians with dual citizenship.
Additionally, the presence of any other foreigners in Gaza who may not wish to evacuate is currently unclear.
