US Warns His Citizens In Nigeria To Avoid Major Hotels In Major Cities.

The United States has issued a warning to its citizens in Nigeria, alerting them to a heightened risk of attacks targeting major hotels in major cities.

The advisory emphasizes that these attacks may happen at any time, without prior notice.

This security alert, dated November 3, was sent as an emergency message to all U.S. citizens currently residing in Nigeria.

The U.S. government strongly recommends that its citizens exercise caution when staying in major hotels, maintain a high level of awareness about their surroundings, and keep a low profile.

Furthermore, they are encouraged to review the State Department’s travel advisory for Nigeria prior to making hotel reservations, as this advisory may include additional information and travel restrictions.

The advisory states, The U.S. Government possesses credible information indicating an increased threat to major hotels located in Nigeria’s larger cities.

While acknowledging that Nigerian security agencies are taking measures to reduce the risk of hotel attacks, the U.S. government emphasizes that the risk level remains elevated.
