The Nigeria Police Force has clarified that it does not plan to remove security details from VIPs entitled to such services.
In a statement by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force emphasized that VIPs with legal entitlement will retain security, while those not meeting the criteria will undergo strict screening.
The withdrawal of Police Mobile Force personnel is specific to that unit and should not be misconstrued as a blanket ban on all police officers providing VIP escort services.
