The Lagos State Government, through the Special Adviser to the Governor on Mineral Resources, Abiola Olowu, has affirmed its dedication to providing a consistent and reliable electricity supply to the Imota Rice Mill in Ikorodu and the neighboring communities.
Olowu, while inspecting ongoing electrification projects, acknowledged the challenges of power inconsistency in the area and highlighted the state government’s initiatives to address these issues.
He detailed the progress of various projects, such as upgrading the network, installing a power transformer, and completing safety measures, assuring a prompt resolution to the power supply problem upon project completion.
Olowu reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring a sustained electricity supply to the entire region.
