Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese and former vocal critic of President Buhari, clarified on Arise Television’s Morning Show that his critiques were not personal or disrespectful.
He stated that now that Buhari has completed his tenure, there is little more to discuss regarding support or criticism.
Regarding President Tinubu’s performance, Kukah expressed concerns about the ministerial selection process, emphasizing the need for leaders to be continuously challenged rather than appointments being seen as favors.
