By Samuel Abigeal Busayo (SIWES student, Adegbenro Polytechnic)

On Saturday, there was a noticeable low voter turnout in Lokoja Local Government Area during the Kogi State election, specifically in two polling units.

At Polling Unit 073, located at the Open Space Under Mango Tree opposite Kenwon Hotel, with an expected 314 voters, only 65 voters had cast their votes as of the time of reporting.

Additionally, our correspondent reported instances of vote-buying at this polling unit, where money was given to the electorate after casting their votes.
