Mrs. Olawale, the wife of a pastor from Evangelical Church Winning All in Agbeku, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, was killed on Saturday night by kidnappers who terrorized the community.
Another individual is reportedly fighting for their life in a local hospital. The kidnappers forcefully entered the church auditorium, as well as residences in the community, including that of the late pastor’s wife, who operated a provision store in the area.
Rasaki Zubair, the community leader, revealed to our correspondent on Sunday that the abductors allegedly “killed Mrs. Olawale, while another victim, also shot, is struggling for life in a hospital in the area. The abductors also took away the aide of the late pastor’s wife and another male victim.”
Despite the absence of an official spokesperson due to the retirement of SP Ajayi Okasanmi, a senior officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the incident, stating, “We are trying to gather details about the incident for now, please.”
