The Court of Appeal in Lagos has dismissed appeals from the Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and the Peoples Democratic Party’s Olajide Adediran against Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s electoral win.
The three-judge panel found the appeals lacking in merit, stating that the appellants failed to substantiate their claims of forgery and non-qualification against the governor and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
Governor Sanwo-Olu views this ruling as a reaffirmation of his mandate and expresses gratitude for the court’s decision.
He emphasizes a commitment to delivering on his administration’s agenda for the state and calls on opponents to join in building a Greater Lagos.
