Nigerian Army Safely Disposes of 642 Unexploded Bombs from Ikeja Cantonment

The Nigerian Army, led by Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, has safely disposed of 642 unexploded bombs recovered from the Ikeja Military Cantonment.

“Operation Clean Sweep,” initiated on October 10, aimed to recover and dispose of these ordnances, with the final disposal scheduled for November 18 at the Nigerian Army Range in Owode Ajilete, Ogun State.

The statement assures the public of safety during the detonation exercise, emphasizing that necessary precautions have been taken.
