Former NDDC boss, General Charles Airiavbere (Rtd), emphasizes the necessity for Edo State to align with the ruling APC at the federal level instead of staying in opposition with the PDP.
He expressed this belief while declaring his candidacy for the 2024 Edo State governorship election within the APC, highlighting the importance of the state being in the same party as the federal government.
Airiavbere underlines the significance of reclaiming Edo from the PDP and returning it to the APC, stating that the state’s status as the heartbeat of the nation should be maintained.
