In a recent announcement, the University of Ilorin has introduced a 14-day paid paternity leave for its male staff members.
The university’s Registrar, Mr. Mansur Alfanla, shared this information with the media on Monday, citing the amendment of the Conditions of Service as a step towards enhancing working conditions at the institution.
The paternity leave applies to male officers when their partners give birth, and also extends to those adopting a child under four months old.
