Tragedy struck in Kebbi State as a motor accident claimed the lives of eleven onion traders from Goronyo, Sokoto State.
The incident occurred in the Koko/Besse local government area, where the truck carrying the traders and passengers veered off the road, resulting in fatalities and injuries.
Swift response from the Kebbi State Police saw the injured rushed to the hospital, where the loss of 11 lives was confirmed.
CP Chris issued a warning to drivers, emphasizing the importance of avoiding overspeeding and overloading to prevent such devastating accidents, expressing condolences and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
