Emphasized the importance of developing leadership qualities in children at a mentorship program held in Lagos State. The initiative, named Trenches to Triumph,’ aimed to empower students by providing insights into leadership, along with essential educational materials.
During the one-day program, students were guided on the significance of embracing strong leadership traits.
The event was organized by Sam Akinyemi, the founder of the initiative, with a focus on transforming how young leaders perceive themselves, their communities, and the boundless opportunities that await them.
Akinyemi highlighted the initiative’s mission to instill a sense of purpose, pride, and responsibility in students by sharing stories of triumph over adversity, resilience in the face of challenges, and the unwavering spirit of the people.
He expressed the organization’s goal of inspiring a new generation of leaders who will contribute to the nation’s greatness.
The choice of secondary students for this initiative was deliberate, as Akinyemi explained that this stage is critical in shaping the lives of many youths.
He stressed the necessity of guidance during this period due to the various pressures that arise from different aspects of life.
