Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, is set to embark on another medical trip to Germany, just four months after returning from a previous visit.
A statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, announced that the governor will prioritize his health and undergo a full recovery during his medical leave.
Governor Akeredolu has duly informed the state House of Assembly about his temporary absence, and Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will act as the governor in his stead.
The governor expressed gratitude for the continued support of the people of Ondo State, assuring them of his administration’s commitment to progress and prosperity.
As a practice, Governor Akeredolu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has consistently delegated power to his deputy during his annual vacations, maintaining this tradition on several occasions in the past.
