The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought charges against Salisu Suleiman, the Managing Director of Faris Construction Company Limited, and the company itself for allegedly misappropriating N21 million.
The charges were presented before Justice Hadiza Suleiman at the Kano State High Court.
The accusation revolves around the fraudulent misappropriation of funds meant for the supply of 125,000 litres of Automotive Gas Oil to a construction site in Nguru Local Government, Yobe State.
Despite denying guilt, Suleiman was remanded in EFCC custody, with a bail application hearing scheduled by Justice Suleiman.
