In adherence to President Bola Tinubu’s directive, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced the commencement of complimentary train rides across all passenger services.
Commencing from Thursday, December 21, 2023, to Thursday, January 4, 2024, passengers are advised to secure their free tickets exclusively through online e-ticketing platforms.
The NRC emphasized that tickets will not be issued at any train station, and boarding without a ticket will not be permitted.
Passengers are urged to cooperate with security personnel and follow the provided boarding instructions.
The NRC’s press release stated, We urge commuters to maintain order, respect security personnel, and adhere to the laid-down boarding instructions both at the station and on-board the trains.
