Mr Dasuki Arabi, the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), encouraged state governments to adopt reforms similar to those initiated by the Federal Government to enhance the functionality of the public service.
During a meeting with the Gombe State Bureau of Public Reforms Service, Arabi emphasized the importance of replicating federal-level digital transformations at the state level.
He highlighted President Bola Tinubu’s directive for states to establish their bureau of public service reforms, underscoring the role of such reforms in improving service delivery and bridging the gap between the government and the people.
Arabi emphasized the need for uniformity in transformation efforts, pointing out the partnership with stakeholders to introduce technology for greater accountability and transparency in public institutions.
Stressing the significance of cascading reforms to the states, he emphasized the Renewed Hope Agenda and the importance of states digitalizing governance to reduce costs and enhance transparency for citizens.
