The Super Eagles’ camp for the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire is officially underway in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with 17 players present. Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, and Victor Boniface are among those currently in camp.
The team’s official announcement on Wednesday listed other players including Kenneth Omeruo, Moses Simon, Leke Ojo, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo, and Frank Onyeka.
Bruno Onyemaechi, Zaidu Sanusi, Chidozie Awaziem, Bright Osayi Samuel, and Raphael Onyedika have also joined the camp.
The Super Eagles are set to commence their first training session this evening, and additional players like Osimhen and Chukwueze are expected to join in the coming days.
Nigeria is scheduled to face Equatorial Guinea in their opening fixture on Sunday, January 14.
