Governor Biodun Oyebanji has administered the oath of office to 38 recently elected local government chairmen in Ekiti State.
Emphasizing the importance of enhancing security and revenue generation, Oyebanji urged the chairmen to build on the foundation laid by their predecessors, emphasizing zero tolerance for security lapses.
The governor commended the past chairmen for their political and administrative skills, emphasizing honesty, impartiality, and a commitment to shared prosperity in their duties.
The local government elections took place on December 2, 2023, reflecting the governor’s commitment to democratic governance at the grassroots level.
