Orji Uzor Kalu, Abia North Senator and former state governor, advocates for a non-violent approach among Nigerian youth, emphasizing the importance of choosing peace over conflict to foster economic progress.
Speaking in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, Kalu urges the youth to prioritize dialogue, tolerance, and collaboration for economic development, particularly during his inspection of a multi-billion naira cashew processing plant in the community.
He emphasizes the need for a peaceful environment to attract investors and calls on the youth to cooperate with the government and security agencies for the common good.
Kalu believes that fostering peace is essential to address youth restiveness, unemployment, and insecurity in the state.
