The Federal Capital Territory Administration has issued a stern warning to school principals and administrators, stating their intention to sanction those responsible for the low turnout of students in public schools.
Dr. Danlami Hayyo, the Secretary of the FCTA Education Secretariat, emphasized during a recent school visit that any institution with a low student turnout would face consequences, including the replacement of administrators.
Hayyo highlighted the administration’s commitment to prioritizing education and ensuring the sector’s integrity.
The secretary expressed satisfaction with the overall turnout during the school visit, reinforcing the government’s dedication to addressing challenges and providing financial support for school improvements in the 2023 budget.
