Zenith Bank has refuted reports suggesting that its Group Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, was arrested or detained by the EFCC or any other anti-graft agency.
The bank reassures the public that Dr. Onyeagwu continues to carry out his responsibilities without interruption.
Additionally, senior bank executives were questioned by the EFCC in connection to an ongoing investigation involving the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and its suspended minister, Betta Edu.
Furthermore, President Bola Tinubu has appointed Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
