The Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, led by Rev Yakubu Pam, shifts pilgrimage from Israel and Jordan to Greece and Rome due to ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

Pam assures focus on pilgrims’ security, citing suspended December 2023 pilgrimage to Israel for similar concerns.

After assessing sites in Greece and Rome, he confirms arrangements for the 2023/2024 main pilgrimage, emphasizing spiritual exercises at New Testament locations.

President Bola Tinubu appoints nine members to the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission board, urging them to commit to serving the nation.
