Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, a prominent grassroots youth mobilizer known as ‘Small but Mighty,’ as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Youth Development and Mobilization.
The announcement was made through a statement from the Office of the Head of Service, represented by Bode Olabisi. Oladimeji, with a BSc degree and National Diploma in Computer Science, brings over 5 years of IT experience to the role.
His appointment, effective from November 24, 2023, to May 21, 2027, is aimed at promoting dedication and selflessness in his duties.
He expressed gratitude at the Lagos State government Secretariat, pledging to unite Lagos youths and uphold the state’s image.
Oladimeji, active in youth-oriented initiatives, founded the Defend Lagos Movement and led the Occupy Progressive Lagos Youth Summit in 2022.
His notable roles include contesting as the APC national youth leader and serving as a Youth Liaison Officer to Temitope Adewale, a member of the Lagos State Assembly.
