Kwara University Mourns Loss Of Deputy Bursar Cheering For Super Eagles.

The deputy bursar of Kwara State University, Alhaji Ayuba Abdullahi, tragically passed away while cheering for Nigeria during the semi-final match against South Africa in the AFCON tournament.

Abdullahi, who was watching the game at a sports center in the Sango area, complained of dizziness and later collapsed at home. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed before reaching the hospital.

His sudden demise has deeply saddened the community, highlighting the importance of prioritizing health, especially during stressful moments. He was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs.

Additionally, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, a former federal lawmaker from Delta State, and a National Youth Service Corps member serving in Adamawa State also passed away during the game, underscoring the emotional toll of the match.
