In his plea to the federal government, Bagos urged increased security presence in troubled areas and emphasized the need for swift action to quell the attacks.
Citing the escalating insecurity nationwide, he argued that state police were imperative to combatting killer herdsmen, insurgents, and kidnappers effectively.
Bagos, who served as a representative for Jos East/Jos South from 2019–2023 and was reelected in 2023, urged the National Assembly to incorporate state policing into the ongoing constitutional amendment process.

Bagos concluded by underscoring the overwhelming security challenges facing the federal government, stressing the necessity for assistance in combating these threats.
