PALLIATIVE 8.0:FAMUYIWA EMPOWERS RESIDENTS WITH CASH.

Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA Secretariat was a beehive of activities yesterday Friday 14th June as residents gathered in their numbers for the 8th edition of Community Cash Empowerment programme put together by the Famuyiwa’s Administration.

The Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa in his speech expressed that the 8th edition of the empowerment / paliative programme is meant to take care of families that has not been reached in the programme.

He acknowledged the economic challenges facing the country, noting that ten thousand naira may not be enough to cook a pot of soup in Lagos, however, he expressed hope that this cash paliative would bring some relief, especially during the Id-el-Kabir (Ileya) festivity.

The program was well-received by major stakeholders and community leaders, as they took turn to commend the chairman for his gesture.

The Chief Imam of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Alhaji Raji Memud commended the council boss for his consistent support which has brought relieve to homes.

The Head of the Artisan Association in the LCDA, Comrade Olamilekan also appreciated the Council Chairman’s gesture, while the CAN President, Bishop Owoeye, praised the Chairman’s good deeds and reiterated his slogan DO NORMAL. The religious leaders offered prayers for the Chairman and the entire council.

This empowerment program demonstrates the council’s commitment to supporting the community’s welfare, despite the economic challenges facing the nation.

Over five hundred families received twenty thousand naira (#20,000) cash and were seen beaning with smiles and accolades for the Famuyiwa’s Administration.
