Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged citizens and residents to come together in rebuilding the foundations of Lagos and Nigeria.

Bishop Jeremiah Adeyemi, the guest preacher at the Interdenominational Service, reinforced the governor’s message, urging Lagosians and Nigerians to unite in humility, prayer, and focus, and prophesied that God would guide Nigeria’s reconstruction.

Commissioner for Home Affairs Ibrahim Layode assured citizens of the government’s dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy through various people-oriented programs.

The Independence Anniversary event was attended by high-ranking government officials, military and paramilitary personnel, as well as representatives from professional and religious organizations.
