Apostle Lawrence Achudume, the Lead Pastor of Victory Life Bible Church International, has called upon Nigerian politicians to cease their excessive spending of public funds.
Speaking during an empowerment program in Umubu, Amai Community, Delta State, he implored politicians to utilize public funds judiciously and direct them towards programs that would genuinely benefit the people, rather than squandering them on unnecessary extravagances.
He emphasized that politicians should prioritize the welfare of the citizens over personal enrichment, especially during these trying times when Nigerians are facing hardships, companies are downsizing, and many are struggling to make ends meet.
Achudume encouraged politicians to reflect on their actions, show justice, and contribute positively to their communities, rather than flaunting expensive new bulletproof cars, which do not provide safety among the people they are elected to represent.
