40,000 Police Personnel Deployed To Kogi For Governorship Election.

Approximately 40,000 police personnel have been deployed to oversee the upcoming Kogi governorship election and monitor potential trouble spots, stated Bernard Onuoha, the Commissioner of Police for the state.

During an exclusive interview at the state police headquarters in Lokoja, he expressed concerns about potential violence, particularly in flashpoint areas like Olamaboro, Dekina, Ejule in Kogi East, and Adavi, Obehira, and Obangede in Kogi Central.

Onuoha emphasized that efforts were underway to prevent these threats and ensure a peaceful election.
