Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate for the 2023 election, has made it clear that despite the disappointment of yet another failed presidential attempt, he is not giving up.
At a press conference in Abuja following the Supreme Court’s confirmation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election, Atiku stated, As for me and my party, the phase of our work has finished, but I will not disappear.
As long as I am alive, I will continue to fight alongside other Nigerians to improve our democracy, strengthen the rule of law, and advocate for the political and economic restructuring that our country needs to reach its full potential.
Atiku also emphasized that the younger generation of Nigerians now has a greater stake in leading this struggle.
Despite facing defeat multiple times in his six attempts to vie for the presidency, Atiku remains resolute in his commitment to the betterment of Nigeria’s political landscape.
