The Acting National Chairman of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, has declared that the struggle for the nation’s freedom has just commenced.
He made this declaration during a world press conference held for Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s Presidential Candidate in the previous election.
Damagum expressed, Despite our disappointment, our determination remains resolute, as we are aware of the underlying circumstances.
The challenging situation facing our country has left many without cause for celebration.
Damagum urged journalists to accurately convey the former Vice President’s statements, emphasizing, We want Nigerians to be well-informed about our position.
The battle begins today, and we stand unwavering. We call on all PDP members not to lose heart.
