Kalu, the former Governor of Abia State and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatization, has expressed his profound grief at the passing of Prof Ben Nwabueze, who served as the first Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo and held the position of former Minister of Education.
Kalu greatly admired the late Prof Ben Nwabueze’s significant contributions to Nigeria and celebrated the legal luminary’s remarkable impact on social, economic, and political development.
He emphasized that Prof Nwabueze led a purposeful life dedicated to serving humanity.
In a condolence message, Kalu extended his sympathies to the government and people of Anambra state for their loss. He expressed, I deeply mourn the passing of the pioneering Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Professor Ben Nwabueze.
The late legal luminary was a patriotic elder statesman and a selfless leader, deeply passionate about the growth and progress of Nigeria.
He was truly a man of honor. His demise is a significant loss to Nigeria, and his legacy of good deeds and progress will be long remembered. Kalu offered his prayers for the eternal rest of the late constitutional lawyer.
