The Commissioner of Police for Ondo State, Mr. Abiodun Asabi, has issued a plea to compassionate individuals and corporate entities to assist the police force in their endeavor to combat crime and maintain law and order in the state.
Asabi emphasized his commitment to safeguarding the people of the state and stressed that security is a collective responsibility, not one solely entrusted to the police.
Mr. Asabi made these statements during the inauguration of a newly constructed police post, generously donated by Dr. Tolulola Bayode, the philanthropic founder of Dorian Home.
The event took place in Akure, the state capital, on a Saturday. Asabi commended this initiative as a significant step in enhancing security and protection for the local community.
