Adarabioyo Renews Fulham Contract With The Team.

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is set to renew his contract with the team, as reported by Saka Bashir Adegboyega, a SIWES student from KWASU. Initially, there were expectations of his departure in the summer transfer window after rejecting a new deal with the club.

However, Monaco’s £8.5m bid was turned down, and Tottenham’s interest didn’t lead to his departure.

Although Adarabioyo’s contract situation raised uncertainty about his future, he can now explore the possibility of extending his stay at Craven Cottage.

His current contract is set to expire in June 2024, and he could potentially leave on a free transfer after the season. He can also discuss pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs starting in January.

The Evening Standard reports that Adarabioyo has changed his stance and is open to remaining at Fulham. The club is willing to renegotiate a new contract, allowing him to follow in the footsteps of his manager, Marco Silva, who recently extended his contract until June 2026.

Adarabioyo, who joined Fulham from Manchester City, has played 108 competitive games for the team, scoring three goals.

He has been recovering from groin surgery and has made just one appearance this season. Fulham, currently in 14th place in the Premier League table, will face Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
