Amotekun Corps Pays Tribute To Outgoing Governor Akeredolu With Candlelight Procession.

Residents of Akure, the capital city, joined Amotekun Corps in a candlelight procession, expressing gratitude for Governor Akeredolu’s contributions to Ondo State’s security.

The event attracted participants from various sectors, including traditional rulers, APC members, and supporters, acknowledging Akeredolu’s achievements in security, infrastructure, and economic development.

Amotekun Commanders, representing five Southwest states, led a heartfelt tribute to Akeredolu, lauding his instrumental role in forming the security agency.

The procession, marked by banners like Thank you, Governor Akeredolu and Amotekun: The Best Idea Ever, culminated at the Governor’s office. Commanders later visited Governor Aiyedatiwa, pledging continued support for Amotekun and expressing gratitude for his commitment to the Corps.

Commander Adetunji emphasized Amotekun’s permanence, assuring the region’s safety. He conveyed solidarity from all Southwest governors, highlighting Akeredolu’s pivotal role in enhancing regional security.

Adetunji credited Akeredolu’s legacy, stating that his dedication significantly improved the security landscape in the Southwest, epitomized by the establishment and success of the Amotekun Corps.
