The arrests were made as part of the command’s ongoing efforts to eliminate criminal elements and enhance the safety of residents in the state.
Commissioner Kuryas stated that the suspects would be prosecuted, emphasizing the commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice across all 21 local government areas.
The police commissioner also highlighted successful operations, such as the rescue of kidnapped individuals and the recovery of ammunition and vehicles from criminal gangs.
Despite challenges, including the tragic loss of two officers during a shootout in Uga Community, the commissioner assured the public of continued efforts to maintain law and order, combat violent crime, and address cybercrime, underscoring the importance of community support in achieving these goals.
