The crisis within the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) intensifies as the Omoluabi Progressives caucus accuses former governor Gboyega Oyetola of impeding efforts to reconcile President Bola Tinubu and Rauf Aregbesola.
The Aregbesola loyalists claim that Oyetola and his faction orchestrated the rift through spiritual maneuvers, denouncing the legal action initiated by the APC against the Omoluabi Progressives Caucus.
The statement, led by Adelowo Adebiyi, criticizes Oyetola’s alleged interference with Aregbesola’s peace overtures to Tinubu, highlighting the faction’s anxiety over Aregbesola’s enduring political influence in Osun State.
The statement also alleges Oyetola’s divisive actions and calls for evidence to support the accusations against Aregbesola.
