The All Progressives Grand Alliance expresses appreciation to the Anambra State Police Command for successfully dispersing a gang of hoodlums responsible for the recent attack that claimed the lives of two police officers at the Uga Roundabout in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The incident occurred last Thursday when the officers, part of a special mission convoy for a prominent politician, were ambushed by the assailants amid traffic in the area.
Anambra Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, revealed the elimination of the hoodlums during a raid on their camp in Ogboji, Orumba South LGA, following a thorough manhunt launched against them.
In response, Chinedu Obigwe, the National Coordinator of the Media Warriors Forum of APGA, commended the Anambra Police command and Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, emphasizing that Anambra is no longer a haven for criminals. Source
