During a guest lecture at Corona College of Education in Lagos State, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, Founder of Chair Centre Group, emphasized the necessity of incorporating entrepreneurial studies into primary school curricula.
She believes this integration will empower young individuals to become creators of jobs, fostering economic growth. Mrs. Awosika also underscored the significance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in job creation, urging the development of problem-solving mindsets with commercial value from a young age.
The lecture, titled The Future of Education and Entrepreneurship in Nigeria: Trends and Predictions,’ explored the intersection of education and entrepreneurship in Nigeria’s future landscape.
The event, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University of Education, aimed to address the importance of revamping Technical and Vocational Education and Training for a more robust educational system.
