Rangers’ defender, Leon Balogun, is urging his teammates to shift their focus to the rescheduled Scottish Premier League match against St Johnstone, following the celebration of their Viaplay Cup victory over Aberdeen.
Balogun, who returned to Ibrox from QPR this summer, expressed pride in the recent triumph and stressed the importance of readiness for the upcoming fixture.

I’m proud to deliver what the fans want and deserve. We enjoyed the moment, but now we need to prepare for Wednesday’s crucial match.
Despite the celebration, Balogun emphasized the significance of securing points in the league, stating, We’ll enjoy this but ensure we’re ready for Wednesday. There are important points to play for, and we aim to secure them.
Balogun commended the manager, Clement, expressing confidence in the squad’s preparedness.
This is a significant push for us. The manager is honest, and I believe he’ll remind us about Wednesday in his affirmative way, he remarked.
