A Borno resident named Aisha, known to be struggling with drug addiction, has reportedly attempted to sell her two-week-old baby for N1 million in the Akala drug zone in Fadeyi, Lagos.

Aisha’s descent into drug abuse began two years ago when she was brought to Akala, allegedly selling a car left in her care to sustain her addiction.

Despite assistance during childbirth at a Redeemed Church, she later returned to Akala, attempting to sell the infant. Concerned individuals from the area intervened, urging Aisha’s relocation for better care.
