On January 31, 2024, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, the Commissioner of Police for Niger State Command, undertook courtesy visits to key figures in security administration: Comptroller B. O. Kadejo, Customs Area Controller for the Niger/Kogi Command, and C.C. Hamisu Mohamed Isah, Controller for the Nigeria Correctional Service in Niger State.
The purpose behind these visits was to enhance cooperation and information exchange among security agencies operating within the state.
CP Danmamman emphasized the necessity of cohesive efforts between the police and other agencies to combat crime effectively and ensure public safety.
He stressed the importance of collaboration in areas like intelligence sharing, border control, and prevention of smuggling.
CP Danmamman underscored that both the police and customs share the fundamental objective of upholding the law and safeguarding lives and property.
He articulated that concerted efforts between these agencies would contribute to a safer environment for the people of Niger State, leading to reduced crime rates and enhanced public security.
Recognizing the evolving security landscape, CP Danmamman highlighted the imperative of inter-agency collaboration, leveraging each agency’s strengths and capabilities.

Expressing gratitude for the positive relationship maintained by the Customs Area Controller, CP Danmamman commended his strategic leadership and conflict resolution skills, emphasizing the need for exemplary conduct from agency leaders.
