In a significant ruling on Tuesday, the Court of Appeal in Abuja officially declared Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan of the Peoples Democratic Party as the rightful victor of the Kogi Central Senatorial election conducted on February 25.

This decision confirms and upholds the earlier judgment of the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal, which had annulled Abubakar Ohere’s victory under the All Progressives Congress.

Remarkably, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, the prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress in the state, extended his congratulations to Akpoti-Uduagan and expressed his respect for the Court of Appeal’s decision.
