The court has directed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, and other senior security officials to present Mohammed Rabiu, a SIWES student from Polytechnic Ibadan, who has been detained since November 13th.
Mohammed Rabiu filed a case against the Inspector General of Police, alleging unlawful detention, with the next court date set for November 13th.
The affidavit suggests Rabiu’s detention may be without formal charges and raises concerns about his living conditions.
The judge has ordered an expedited hearing, shortening the time for the application on notice to three days.
