De Genius Olivet College Ota has been honoured by the State Ministry of Education for coming frist position in Ogun State competition of Junior Engineering Technician and Scientists (JETS) and there by represents Ogun state secondary schools as a whole at the national level in Abuja FCT.
The event which took place yesterday, Thursday 21st day of November, 2024 where they came.2nd Best overall winners among the Nigeria’s secondary schools in thirty six (36) states across the federation.
Representatives from the school were Master Muritala Moshkuur Adedipupo and Lawal Nimot Orahachi who were presented Certificates of Merits for their success.
Other competition that took place during the event was organized by Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) for seniors secondary school category in the country where De Genius Olivet College triumphed and got frist ( 1st position ).
Proprietor of the school,Hon Ahmed Omisore then showed appreciation to everyone: students and school representatives, teacher and organizers for the victory also promised that De Genius Olivet College will not relent in promoting education within and in the nation at large.
