Enugu Facing Power Outage Due To Emergency Maintenance Work Carried Out By TCN.

Enugu is currently facing a power outage because of emergency maintenance work being carried out by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has provided details about this outage. TCN is conducting maintenance on their T1A 150MVA Power Transformer at their New Haven Station in Enugu, affecting various areas including Kingsway Line 1&2 33KV, New Haven 33KV, Government House 33KV, Independence Layout 33KV, and New NNPC 33KV feeders.

Consequently, residents in parts of Emene, 9th Mile, New Haven, Independence Layout, Coal City Garden, GRA, Golf, areas behind Central Bank of Nigeria, and others will experience a disruption in their power supply. This maintenance work will also impact customers in Colliary, Constitution Road, Railway/Good shed, Western Avenue, Bank Avenue, Ridge Way, Club Road, Kingsway Way Road, Enugu Secretariat, Red Cross, Court Avenue, Fidelity Estate, Shoprite, Golden Royale, CBN Quarters, New Market, Works Road, Aguowa, Artisan Market, Asata, New Haven Market, and the surrounding areas.

EEDC assures its customers that power supply will be restored promptly once the maintenance is completed. The company remains committed to providing improved services to its valued customers.
