Recently interviewed Nigerian singer Spyro on the ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast. Spyro, who used to earn N4,000 a month as a shop attendant, revealed his unconventional past as a chapel prefect engaging in deliverance and studying demonology.
Reflecting on his secondary school days, Spyro expressed his passion for the things of God, having served as the chapel prefect and actively participating in deliverance sessions.
He mentioned reading the Demonology series and acquiring the knowledge of various demon names, enabling him to identify their operations.
Despite facing opposition from his pastor father, Spyro pursued a career in music after being discouraged from his talent in fine arts.
He shared his rebellious journey, which led him to selling recharge cards to sustain his lifestyle, overcoming financial challenges along the way.
