FUTMINNA LECTURE FOUND DEAD IN HER RESIDENCE

Dr. Adefolalu Sherifat, a female lecturer at the Department of Biochemistry in the School of Life Sciences at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, has tragically been discovered deceased in her residence.

Sherifat was found in her home in the Gbaiko Area of the town, lying in a pool of her own blood. Prof. Gbolahan Bolarin, the chairman of the school’s Academic Staff Union of University, confirmed this distressing incident to Channels Television on Sunday.

Bolarin explained that her fellow church members went to check on her when she didn’t attend the church service.

Disturbingly, some neighbors had to forcibly enter her house, where they found her lifeless on the floor.

Sherifat’s body was later transported to the mortuary by the police operatives.

Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesman for the Niger State Police Command, assured that additional information about the incident would be disclosed in the near future.

Residents have also mentioned that her husband, who was also a professor at the school had passed on.

Until her death, she was staying with a female house help but laid off the girl on Friday, they added.
